My name is A. Tessa Rogers, and I am an active member of Drucilla Chapter No. 19, Order of the Eastern Star, PHA of Durham, North Carolina. I am the Chapter Queen and have been charged with the awesome task of raising funds for yearly district and state scholarship opportunities. I am originally from New York; however, my parents relocated to North Carolina when I was around nine years of age.

I am a product of Durham Public Schools and a graduate of the almighty Hillside High School, where I was bestowed the title of Homecoming Queen. I am also a product of North Carolina Central University and Campbell University, where I earned a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Computer Science with a minor in Economics and The Arts.
I am the wife of Cedric Rogers Sr., and we have celebrated over forty years of marriage. I am the mother of two adult ladies and one son, who passed away. I am Grandmother (BooBoo) to five wonderful grandchildren. I am the only child of Aaron Barnes of Dorcus Lodge No. 460, Durham Consistory No. 218, Commander of the Rite 33rd degree, and Zafa Temple No. 176, and Ida Barnes of Drucilla Chapter No. 19, University Assembly No. 218, and Zafa Court No. 41, who have been married for over sixty years.
My husband and I, along with my parents and daughter, are members of White Rock Baptist Church.
Queen Rogers and Drucilla Chapter #19 truly appreciate your support.
